The 'public' Black Belt training, which started on January 23, is again very successful, as 34 participants have registered for this training.

In December 2011, IBIS UvA has started with an in-company Green Belt training for the Rivas Zorggroep.

On Thursday September 1st, IBIS UvA organized a special event for alumni. Location was the Amsterdam Business School in Amsterdam.

Under the supervision of Dr. M. Riaz (obtained his doctorate from the UvA in 2008) and Professor R.J.M.M. Does, three Pakistani students have started their PhD research.

In March 2009, IBIS UvA has started a LinkedIn group for all IBIS UvA alumni.
